Spice happens . . .Kafta update

Hello from Montreal, the beautiful city where I'm hosted by the wonderful Asma and Munir.

Today, Asma and Mounir's moving day to a great new home, after much moving work, I decided to make Kafta for us!


 I had bought lean minced beef and minced lamb to mix them, but the beef went bad :(

So lamb it was, and in Arabic we say: rubba daratin nafi'a (silver lining). It was  a great thing, because it reminded me that lamb is better, so much better!

So from now on, Kafta goes back to LAMB!


ohhhh, and the title: the other thing that happened (still looking for silver lining there) was that while trying to find Asma's spice mix, it fell on me and I was drenched in spices, head to toe! {glad there are no pictures!}
